Nextcare Acne Cover: Ladies

Hi! Have you tried acne cover? I tried this Nextcare Acne cover out of curiosity, did it work well?

I choose the Ladies one. There are a few type: Ladies, Men, Big, and the Star one (sorry, I forget the name). The packaging is so so. A lady picture in yellow paper. Though I think the drawing is cute..

Unfortunately, it only consist of 6 big patches, and 12 small patches. For about Rp29.000 or 3USD I think it is not too worth it. Because it just disposable. I though we will get more. (such a cheapskate). It has yellow color that when you use it it won't be noticeable.

 And I tried it at the night before I sleep. You have to use it for 8 hours then you can see whether it works or not. Here it is my bare face just before sleep. After washing my face, and patting my face with towel to dry it, I put the patches in my pimples. You must be careful not to touch the sticky side otherwise it won't adhere. And you have to skip your night skincare regime. Because it won't stick with face that already use your night cream. I advise to use this first then your night cream. When using your night cream be careful not to applied it on the patches.

 Just wake up and already take a photo.

Here you can see the before after. It slightly helping me reduce the swelling but not much. It won't you put the patch and voila in the morning your pimples is gone forever. And even after I use it the next night, it won't make my pimples gone. Actually the pimples is just reduced just after we remove the patches. And in the afternoon, the pimples will be swollen again..

I think it don't works wonder like they said so I don't have intention to repurchase it. Have you tried it?

ZA Beauty Show

Hello! I want to share my first beauty event: ZA Beauty Show. It held last week, in March 2nd 2013. At the day I was not sure to attend, because I had a teaching schedule. But then I though, It is my first beauty event, so why not come? I was held in Mall Kelapa Gading. It is near my house. I arrived at 13.00. But when I came, there is not many people. Then I decided to had my lunch first and salat. After that, at 14.00 which is the show time, I come again. But it still not full. So I explored the product. Trying some this and that.. :p

 The dress code is a touch of pink. So I use some pink! :D

 See? Even when I arrived and sit, the chair is still a lot empty.

 Then at around 15.00 the show is started. It is super late! I hate it. Because I supposed still can teach if they started on time. But I can't! :( The MC is starting with review from beauty bloggers about their skin care line and make up. Too bad I am too focused to heard their reviews, so I don't have their picture.

After that MC called lovely beautiful ladies who will show us to touch up with ZA cosmetics.

 They walk around the stage. I really envy their body! It is so slim! -_____-"

And that is the end of show. After that they announced the winner of door prize. I am not lucky that day to win it.. :( But I got a photo:

ZA Perfect Fit Two Way Foundation in shade OC20 is very suitable shade for my skin.

I am using it a few time and it works good. It is medium coverage and have matte finish. I use it without dap it with water, though. I just feel in dry use is more than enough to cover my imperfection. But too bad the oil control is not good. 2 hours after applying, my face start to oily.

And I got total hydration foamy cleanser in fresh. It has 2 type: fresh and moist. I think the moist one is for dry skin. And this cleanser working so great. You just need a lil bit to make foamy. I spend the 5g of the sample for a week. I use it twice a day. And it is not make your face squeaky. It has perfume in it. I smell it like Biore's cleanser smell. It has blue scrub, but the scrub is not gonna hurt you, it will melts on it's way.
And I got the toner in fresh too. It is so-so. And it has smell in it too. It likes um... wardah whitening toner smells (because my sister use it). Sorry if I am not good in describing the smell, but I can't guess what smell is that.. m(-____-)m
And the last is total hydration deep moist cream. I love this moisturizer! It makes my face feels smooth. But I don't recommend it for oily skin type because believe me, it is so oily! My skin looks radiance. I use it to balancing my acne gel which is makes my skin dry and making dry patches. If I use it along, there is no dry patches. And I use it only in the night.
Will I repurchase it? Well, no. Because it is making my face oily even though it help me with dry patches. I am gonna search some skincare that help me with acne but not make my face dry nor very oily.

My Darling Liquid Eyeliner

My week is so exhausted. So I am starting my new semester this monday. And attending class while working as teacher is so exhausted! I wish I can balanced it out.
Well back at the review, I want to review about My Darling liquid eyeliner. I can use liquid eyeliner more easily than pencil eyeliner or gel eyeliner. Even though a lot of people said it is easier to use pencil or gel liner, I don't feel so. Maybe because as a start up, I use liquid eyeliner as my first eyeliner, so I am used to it now.
I was run out of my eyeliner, so I asked my sister to accompany me to buy the new eyeliner. I kinda want to try something new, so I asked my sister recommendation. And she recommended this eyeliner. She said from her friends, this eyeliner is a raving. I am looking for waterproof, smudgeproof, and cheap eyeliner. So I bought it.

It looks so cheap rite? I don't mind if it packaging looks cheap if the performance is good. The color is ruby-black-gold. It contain 9ml. It has POM number, so I think it is safe to use.

There is a heart shape in the cap. People said it cute, but I don't feel so.

After applying it, it shiny. But after dry, it is not shiny anymore. The black color is not intense. A bit greyish I guess.

But it takes a loooooong time to dry. When it dries, I found it smudgeproof.

The applicator is easy to use. But I found it is too long.

It stay still in the water as can you see. BUT....

When you rub, it is not waterproof! So beware of panda eyes! ^^

Overall I don't like this eyeliner. About the price, I think I bought it under IDR20.000 or under 2USD. It is not waterproof and the color is not intense. I regret buying it.

Btw, these days my face is breaking out a lot. I guess it is because lack of sleep and lack of water. But my dermatologist acne lotion is not working on my face anymore. So I am looking for another option. When I watching TV there is an ad about Murad Acne Complex, but when I check it on makeupalley, they said it is bad. Then I want to try tea tree line of The Body Shop. I want to try tretinoid too, but they said it is too strong. Have any of you try it? How was it is? Or you have some recommendation?

Bless Acne Liquid Foundation

Halo-halo... review yang baru nih! Kali ini mau review tentang Bless Acne Liquid Foundation. Ini merupakan liquid foundation dari line acne nya Bless.
Aku beli ini udah lama, pertama pakai nggak begitu suka, soalnya nggak tahan lama. 2 jam aja udah bikin muka ku berminyak. Akhirnya nggak pernah pakai lagi. Terus suatu hari lihat produk ini masih di kotak kosmetik dan kadaluarsanya tinggal bentar lagi. Akhirnya karena nggak mau rugi aku pakai lagi deh. Pas awal aku pakai bless ini sama bedak segala umat, bedak Marcks. Dan yang terakhir coba ini pakai Maybelline Clear Smooth Compact Powder. Dan ternyata setelah nyoba sekali lagi awet di muka aku! Dari pagi sampai sore, masih nempel di muka. Memang, masih berminyak, tapi masih kelihatan segar, nggak kucel.

 Ini dia penampakan depannya. Aku waktu itu beli yang ukuran 60 ml seharga Rp30.000an. Waktu itu beli di STAR Dept. Store Mall Kelapa Gading. Seingatku Bless ini ada 2 ukuran, yang besar sama yang kecil, aku belinya yang kecil, soalnya waktu itu juga cuma mau nyoba dulu. Kalau yang besar ukurannya 125 ml harganya sekitar Rp40.00an.
Kemasannya simpel banget dengan warna putih dan tutup yang warna ungu.

Bless Acne Liquid Foundation adalah foundation berbentuk cair yang oil-free, mengandung formula untuk mengecilkan pori-pori dan membantu mencegah jerawat. Dapat merawat dan menyempurnakan penampilan kulit wajah yang berjerawat.

Kocok dahulu sebelum digunakan, oleskan pada wajah yang telah dibersihkan sampai membentuk lapisan tipis yang merata. Jangan digunakan untuk anak dibawah 3 tahun. Jangan digunakan pada kulit terkelupas atau teriritasi.

Ingredients:

Water, Talc, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Zinc Oxide, Boric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Prophylparaben, Cl 77491, Cl 77499, Cl 77492, Parfum.

 

 Tutupnya model yang ulir. Aku sih mau model ulir, flip-flop, atau pump ga masalah. Tapi mungkin buat orang yang ceroboh harus hati-hati naro tutupnya, takut hilang. Hehehe...

 

Bisa dilihat di foto atas, teksturnya bener-bener cair. Biasanya aku pakai sekitar 5-7 tetes. Setelah itu aku "puk-puk" di wajah sampai merata pakai jari. Bless Acne Liquid Foundation ini cuma ada satu shade. Dan shadenya menurutku natural, jadi mau kulitnya putih atau tan bisa pakai ini. Lagipula pakainya nggak perlu banyak-banyak sih menurut aku.

Wajahku hanya pakai moisturizer dan lip balm. Banyak bekas jerawat disana-sini akibat tamu bulanan.

Setelah ku pakai Bless Acne Foundation. Coveragenya itu light to medium. Jadi untuk spot-spot yang perlu ditutupi bisa pakai concealer.

Pakai foundation ini tuh light banget, kayak nggak pakai apa-apa. Soalnya kan emang foundie ini targetnya buat orang yang berjerawat, dan orang berjerawat nggak boleh pakai foundie yang terlalu berat. Tapi kekurangannya menurutku ini comedogenic. Soalnya semenjak mulai pakai ini lagi, komedo aku mulai banyak. Yang biasanya sebulan sekali facial, perlu 2 minggu sekali facial. Kerasa banget di hidung kasarnya komedo yang menumpuk.

Tapi foundie ini awet sampai sore dan kayak nggak pakai apa-apa. Saat sore hari pulang kampus, biasanya kan udah kucel kumel banget tuh tapi ini masih kelihatan segar. Dan juga foundie ini murah banget! Kalau kamu nggak keberatan facial atau bersihin muka yang lebih intense, kamu bisa coba ini.

Repurchase? Nope. Perjalanan aku mencari foundie/bb cream yang tepat masih berlanjuut.. ^^

Hada Labo Gokujyun Lotion

Thank God it is another review! Now I am gonna review about the infamous Hada Labo. A lot of people said they love it! And what about me? Now here it is:
I bought the Indonesian version of Hada Labo. The Indonesian version is smaller than the Japanese version. But it is still from Rohto Company. It is only 100 ml but I think it is enough. I bought it in Watson a half year ago, I forget the exact. I bought around IDR20.000-IDR30.000 or about 2USD- 3USD, I forgot the exact price, forgive me pleaseeee.. ToT
Me and my sister using it daily for about 6 months yet it still about 75% remaining. Wow! You can save a lot of money by that, right?

Sorry for that brown stain in the product. It is completely not from the product itself. I bought the type for oily skin. It consist of two choices: for oily skin or for dry skin.

The packaging is quite simple as their motto is "Perfect X Simple". So nothing fancy about the packaging. There are some instruction in the back and some explanation.
And here it is the ingredients:

Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Alcohol, Glycerin, Methylparaben, Disodium Succinate, Sodium Hyaluronate, PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether, Succinic Acid, Hydrolized Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate.

And you can use it after washing your face, dab it to your face until evenly distributed and your skin absorb it all. I just need around five drops for a whole face and neck.

 It is a flip flop opener. Too bad the plug of mine is broken and now I must carefully try not to spill it.. :(

See? The texture is runny and it is clear like water. The effect after use this, my face become smoother and quite moisturizing. I hate moisturizer that make my face so oily. But it is not! But yeah, it doesn't last long. My face become oily 2 hours after. Yeah, I don't expect it would make my face not oily at all. But it's been be my savior these days when my face is tend to dry which is I don't know why.. ToT maybe because of the weather? But Indonesia is not like Europe or like that. Even when it is rainy season, the sun shine brightly. I can't figure it out why my face sometimes dry thought. But I guess if I can choose between dry skin or oily skin, I'd rather choose oily skin. I really hate dry skin. It makes some patches and it is itchy!
Actually, when the first time I use it, it makes me breakout. Pimples here and there. So I stop using it. But someday my face become very dry and I give it another chance. It turns out good at my face. Even after my face become normal again, which is back to oily type again, it still good in my face. Did anyone else face the same situation with me?
My sister used Wardah Whitening line before, and she kinda allergic with it, so I suggest her to use this Hada Labo and it turns out good too for her. Now she is considering to buy the whole Gokujyun line. For me I think it is so-so. Not making me breakout, but not helping my skin against oily or acne. Nothing make particular difference.
Repurchase? Maybe. Because I don't have any idea what next moisturizer I want to try. Do you have any suggestion?

Aku nggak pernah pakai eyelash sebelumnya soalnya emang bulumataku emang udah panjang. Tapi apa daya lihat banyak beauty guru yang pakai falsies cantik-cantik jadi tergiur untuk coba. Cantik kaan? *wink-wink* Sayangnya bulumata ini kekecilan buatku, jadi nggak pas di mataku. Tapi hasilnya cantik banget aku suka! Cantik dan nggak lebay. Soalnya aku juga agak takut pakai bulumata, takut kayak Aming or even worst! Silly excuse huh? XD
Bulumatanya juga ringan banget dan lemnya bagus, maksudku lemnya itu dalam beberapa detik setelah di pasang di bulumatanya jadi berubah agak biru gitu dari yang tadinya warna putih, jadi aku tahu saat udah warna biru sudah saatnya tuh falsies aku tempel. Dan mereka mengklaim kalau ini tuh natural hair jadi ringan banget! Aku pernah iseng beli bulumata yang harganya Rp6000-an jadi tahu bedanya. Yang Rp6000-an berat dan kaku! Tapi ini nggak! Harganya juga nggak begitu mencekik, seinget aku dibawah Rp100.000an deh, lupa waktu itu pernah dikasih tahu sama pihak D'Eyekonya.
Kalau mau beli, kalian bisa tanya di Facebook D'Eyeko atau di Twitter D'Eyeko. Soalnya aku nggak tahu bisa dibeli dimana aja, wong dapetnya juga gratisan!
