Talk About Weight With @blogdokter

I am following @blogdokter in twitter. It is an account by a doctor based in Indonesia. The doctor is lived in Atambua, East Nusa Tenggara. He always give tweet about health which is so useful for us. But he always tweet in Bahasa. And not a long time ago he tweet about "WEIGHT" something that women always care of. Here it is some translation of his tweet about weight:

  • Always checking your weight is a powerful motivator to lose weight.
  • Weigh once a week will increase the 'awareness' of an increase or decrease in your weight.
  • Do not stress over the increase or decrease of weight because with hard work, losing weight must be succeed.
  • When losing weight, don't be afraid of fat. Because not all fat is your enemy to losing weight.
  • Not eating one kind of food not gonna cut off some calories you eat if you doing it with the wrong way.
  • The fact, fat is used to make you full and prolong the feel of full so it is reducing the desire to eat.
  • Of course the fat consumed are healthy fats instead of saturated fat and trans fat.
  • Our body also needs fat to function normally but of course healthy fats
  • You can find healthy fat in olive oil, fish, tahu, tempe, avocado, and nuts.
  • Drinking water before eat proved can decreasing eat overly
  • Other research said, drinking cold water without sugar can increasing the metabolism and burning more fat.
  • Don't skip eating when you are on diet, because it just make your body hungry and desire to unhealthy snacking.
  • Skip eating can make us don't have energy to exercise whereas exercise is important to losing weight.
  • The healthy cycle: breakfast - healthy snacking - lunch - healthy snacking - dinner.
  • Healthy snacking is eating fruits. Avoid eating junk food, crackers, cookies, cakes.
  • Eat slowly if you want to losing some weight, because there is a time lag between the fullness in the stomach with fullness in the brain.
  • The length of the ideal eating is 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Eating slowly led to more synchronized brain and stomach to provide information that we have full and stop eating.
  • Planning meal activity and menu make food that we eat healthier and more controlled.
  • Without good planning we are tempting to eat easy-to-get food that unhealthy
  • The easy way to planning meal in office is bring our own food from home.
